📌 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for production machines and utilities in the auto plant
• Respond to and resolve machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machines and conveyors
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in production areas
• Manage spare parts inventory and raise purchase indents for critical spares
• Implement TPM activities including autonomous maintenance and focused improvement pillars
• Maintain maintenance history cards, breakdown logs, and MTBF/MTTR records
• Support new equipment installation and commissioning activities

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have experience planning and executing preventive maintenance in an auto plant or manufacturing facility?
• Are you able to troubleshoot PLC-controlled machines independently?
• Do you have hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance?
• Are you familiar with TPM pillars, particularly planned maintenance and autonomous maintenance?
• Can you maintain MTBF and MTTR records and use them to prioritize maintenance activities?
• Do you have experience managing spare parts inventory using a CMMS or ERP system?
• Have you been involved in new machine installation or commissioning in a manufacturing plant?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
