📌 Key Responsibilities

• Create and release 3D models and 2D drawings for auto components using CATIA V5 or SolidWorks
• Apply GD and T to component drawings in line with ASME Y14.5 standards
• Conduct DFM and DFA reviews with manufacturing and tooling teams
• Prepare engineering BOMs and manage ECN documentation during design changes
• Support DFMEA preparation for new component designs
• Coordinate with suppliers for prototype procurement and first article review
• Participate in design reviews and customer CAD data exchange activities

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Are you proficient in CATIA V5 or SolidWorks for 3D modelling and assembly design?
• Can you apply GD and T correctly to engineering drawings per ASME Y14.5?
• Have you conducted DFM or DFA reviews with manufacturing teams?
• Do you have experience preparing engineering BOMs and managing ECN workflows?
• Have you supported DFMEA preparation for new auto component programs?
• Are you familiar with customer CAD data exchange formats such as STEP, IGES, or JT?
• Do you have any exposure to FEA tools such as ANSYS or Nastran for design validation?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
