📌 Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain EHS management system compliant with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001 at the aerospace plant
• Conduct routine safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments across production, composite, and maintenance areas
• Manage chemical and hazardous material storage, labelling, and disposal in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Develop and update emergency response plans, conduct fire drills, and maintain first aid readiness at the facility
• Investigate workplace accidents, near-misses, and safety observations to determine root cause and drive corrective actions
• Train employees on EHS procedures, PPE usage, chemical handling, and emergency evacuation protocols
• Monitor environmental parameters including noise, dust, and chemical effluent and maintain compliance records for regulatory submissions

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have a B.E. or Diploma with at least one year of EHS experience in an aerospace, manufacturing, or heavy industrial plant?
• Are you familiar with ISO 14001 environmental management and ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety standards?
• Do you have experience conducting safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments in a manufacturing environment?
• Are you knowledgeable about chemical and hazardous material handling, storage, and disposal regulations applicable in Tamil Nadu?
• Have you developed emergency response plans, conducted fire safety drills, and maintained first aid readiness at a manufacturing facility?
• Can you lead accident investigations using root cause analysis methods and prepare corrective action reports for management?
• Are you familiar with EHS statutory compliance requirements under the Factories Act, Environment Protection Act, and Tamil Nadu state regulations?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
