- Write MISRA-C compliant embedded C code for motor control, battery interface, and thermal management software modules
- Perform software integration testing and hardware-in-the-loop validation using Vector CANalyzer and dSPACE or ETAS HIL systems
- Implement software requirement specifications and design documents aligned with ASPICE or ISO 26262 software process
- Use model-based development in MATLAB Simulink for algorithm design and automatic code generation for VCU modules
- Debug field software issues using CAN trace analysis and UDS diagnostic session logs

- Explain the AUTOSAR layered software architecture and how BSW modules interact with application software in a VCU
- How do you configure a CAN communication matrix and define message timing in a DBC file?
- Describe the MISRA-C rules most commonly violated in embedded automotive code and how you prevent them
- How do you set up a hardware-in-the-loop test environment for EV VCU software validation?
- What RTOS scheduling strategies do you use for real-time motor control and energy management tasks?
- How do you implement a UDS diagnostic service such as DTC reading and ECU reset in embedded C?
- Explain model-based development using Simulink and Embedded Coder for generating production AUTOSAR software
