📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute software test cases for EV ECUs including VCU, BMS controller, motor controller, and on-board charger using requirements-based testing methodology
• Set up and maintain hardware-in-the-loop test environments for EV ECU software validation using dSPACE or National Instruments HIL systems
• Write CANoe and CANalyzer test scripts in CAPL for automated regression testing of EV communication protocols
• Perform UDS diagnostic service testing including DTC read, write, ECU reset, and diagnostic session control on EV ECUs
• Conduct SIL testing for VCU algorithm modules generated from Simulink model-based development
• Track and manage software defects using tools such as JIRA, PTC Integrity, or IBM DOORS
• Support software release testing and integration testing for each software baseline delivered during EV programme development

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Explain the difference between hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop testing and when you use each for an EV ECU
• How do you write a CANoe CAPL script to automate regression testing of a BMS CAN communication matrix?
• Describe the UDS service 0x19 ReadDTCInformation test cases you would write for a VCU
• How do you set up a dSPACE HIL environment to simulate a battery pack and motor for VCU software testing?
• What is requirements-based testing and how do you trace test cases to software requirements in an EV ECU project?
• How do you perform fault injection testing on a BMS software module in a HIL environment?
• Explain the AUTOSAR diagnostic event manager configuration and how it affects DTC storage in EV ECUs
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
