📌 Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit mechanical components including shafts, bearings, gears, and housings to drawing tolerances
• Align and level rotating equipment such as motors, pumps, and gearboxes using dial gauges and laser aligners
• Perform bench work operations including filing, grinding, drilling, and tapping for component fitment
• Read engineering assembly drawings, exploded views, and part lists to guide fitting sequences
• Install and connect hydraulic and pneumatic lines, valves, and fittings on fabricated assemblies
• Support plant maintenance by dismantling, inspecting, and reassembling worn mechanical assemblies
• Document fitment dimensions, clearances, and alignment readings in maintenance logs

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Which mechanical assemblies have you fitted - pump, gearbox, or conveyor equipment?
• Have you performed shaft alignment using dial gauges or laser aligners?
• Can you read assembly drawings and interpret fit and tolerance symbols?
