- Investigate forging defects such as laps, underfill, cracks, and grain flow anomalies and implement corrections
- Coordinate die maintenance, die life tracking, and repair scheduling with the toolroom
- Work with heat treatment teams to define post-forging annealing or normalising cycles
- Prepare PFMEA, control plans, and process sheets for new product forging programmes
