- Lead hazard analysis and risk assessment for EV battery, BMS, motor, and VCU systems to determine ASIL levels and safety goals
- Define functional safety requirements and technical safety requirements per ISO 26262 Parts 3 and 4
- Conduct FMEA and fault tree analysis for EV hardware and software components to verify diagnostic coverage
- Calculate hardware safety metrics including PMHF and single-point fault metrics for ASIL B, C, and D components
- Review and approve hardware and software safety mechanism implementations in BMS, motor inverter, and VCU designs
- Maintain safety cases and safety analysis documentation throughout the product development lifecycle
- Coordinate functional safety activities with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, systems, and test teams
