📌 Key Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down injection moulding machines following standard operating procedures
• Set and adjust shot size, injection pressure, and holding time parameters
• Load plastic raw material pellets into the hopper and monitor feed consistently
• Inspect moulded components for visual defects such as flash, sink marks, and short shots
• Maintain mould temperature using temperature controllers and cooling water circuits
• Record production counts, cycle times, and defect observations in shift logs
• Perform basic machine cleaning and assist technicians during mould change activities

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you operated an injection moulding machine and set basic parameters such as injection pressure and shot size?
• How do you identify a short shot defect and what machine parameter would you adjust to correct it?
• Can you describe the steps you follow to safely start up an injection moulding machine at shift beginning?
• Have you worked with any standard thermoplastics such as PP, HDPE, or ABS on a moulding machine?
• How do you check that the mould cooling water is flowing correctly before starting production?
• What would you do if you notice flash appearing on the moulded part during a production run?
• Are you familiar with any make of injection moulding machine such as L and T, Windsor, or Ferromatic?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
