📌 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain master production schedules aligned with customer demand and capacity
• Run MRP in SAP and analyse planned orders for material and capacity requirements
• Set and review safety stock levels and reorder points for auto components
• Manage kanban and pull replenishment systems between stores and production lines
• Coordinate with procurement for supplier scheduling and advance delivery planning
• Analyse material shortages and prepare daily shortage reports for escalation
• Support S and OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process with materials planning data
• Maintain material planning master data in SAP including lead times, lot sizes, and MRP parameters

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have hands-on experience running MRP in SAP PP or MM modules?
• Have you prepared master production schedules for an auto component or manufacturing company?
• Are you familiar with kanban and pull replenishment systems on the shop floor?
• Do you have experience setting safety stock levels and reorder points for auto components?
• Can you analyse MRP output and identify capacity or material shortage situations?
• Have you participated in Sales and Operations Planning (S and OP) meetings?
• Do you have experience maintaining MRP master data in SAP including MRP type, lot sizing, and lead times?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
