📌 Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasonic, penetrant, eddy current, or magnetic particle testing on aerospace parts per approved NDT procedures
• Interpret test indications, evaluate against acceptance criteria, and record findings in NDT inspection reports
• Set up NDT equipment, prepare calibration blocks, and verify equipment calibration before each inspection
• Review part drawings and NDT work orders to identify inspection zones, test parameters, and acceptance standards
• Carry out periodic recertification of NDT procedures and participate in procedure qualification activities
• Maintain inspection records, traceability documents, and certificate of conformance packages for tested parts
• Support new product introduction by developing and qualifying NDT procedures for new component geometries

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you hold a current ASNT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing, Penetrant Testing, or Eddy Current Testing?
• Have you performed NDT inspections on aerospace machined parts, castings, forgings, or composite structures?
• Are you familiar with ASNT SNT-TC-1A or NAS 410 written practice requirements for NDT personnel qualification?
• Can you set up NDT equipment, prepare calibration standards, and verify calibration before performing inspections?
• Do you have experience interpreting NDT indications and evaluating them against aerospace acceptance criteria?
• Are you comfortable writing NDT inspection reports and maintaining traceability records for inspected parts?
• Have you participated in NDT procedure development or qualification activities for new aerospace components?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
