📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead all plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, EHS, and HR functions
• Own plant P and L including revenue, cost, efficiency, and EBITDA targets
• Conduct IATF 16949 management reviews and drive quality system improvement
• Lead annual business planning, capacity planning, and capital expenditure proposals
• Manage customer relationships and address escalations on quality, delivery, and program launches
• Drive lean, TPM, and Six Sigma programs across the plant
• Oversee new product launch readiness and APQP gate reviews
• Lead people management activities including talent development, IR, and succession planning

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you managed a plant as the primary P and L owner in an auto component or automobile manufacturing company?
• Are you familiar with IATF 16949 management review requirements and quality system leadership?
• Have you led annual business planning, capacity planning, and CapEx approval processes?
• Do you have experience managing customer relationships at the senior level including escalation handling?
• Have you led lean, TPM, or Six Sigma programs at plant level with measurable financial impact?
• Do you have experience managing IR and labour relations in a unionised auto manufacturing plant?
• Have you overseen multiple new product launches simultaneously while maintaining serial production performance?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
