📌 Key Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for plant production output, quality, safety, cost, and delivery performance across all shifts and sections
• Drive manufacturing excellence through OEE improvement, yield enhancement, and waste elimination programmes
• Lead the production, quality, maintenance, and EHS teams through department heads and senior engineers
• Manage plant P and L including raw material cost, conversion cost, manpower cost, and overhead budget
• Oversee new product introductions, PPAP approvals, capacity expansions, and capital equipment commissioning
• Manage customer visits, audit responses, and escalated quality complaints at the plant leadership level
• Ensure statutory compliance with Factories Act, TNPCB, PESO, and other applicable regulatory authorities

• What size plant have you managed in terms of production volume, headcount, and annual turnover?
• How do you structure your production, quality, maintenance, and EHS review rhythm?
• Describe a significant yield or OEE improvement programme you led.
• How have you managed a customer escalation or third-party audit at your plant?

• How do you evaluate capex proposals and manage capital project commissioning?
• What is your experience with multi-product or multi-section plant operations?
