📌 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor chemical reactions during batch manufacturing and record process parameters
• Prepare and review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) for each production batch
• Analyse reaction intermediates and final products using spectroscopic techniques
• Identify yield losses and recommend process improvements for cost efficiency
• Support scale-up activities from bench scale to pilot and commercial batches
• Review and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and process safety documentation
• Coordinate with QC lab for timely in-process and finished product testing

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.Sc. Chemistry with specialisation in organic, physical, or industrial chemistry
• Practical experience in batch reaction monitoring and yield calculation
• Familiarity with preparation and review of Batch Manufacturing Records
• Knowledge of SDS/MSDS documentation and GHS chemical classification preferred
• Proficiency in spectroscopic analysis techniques including IR, NMR interpretation is a plus
• Good documentation skills for ERP batch record entry and process log maintenance
• Ability to work collaboratively with production operators and QC analysts
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
