📌 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily production targets for assigned furnace, rolling, or casting sections in coordination with planning teams
• Monitor key process parameters including temperature, speed, reduction ratio, and chemical composition during production
• Track OEE, downtime reasons, and shift production output and report to plant management
• Lead shift handover meetings and brief operators on targets, safety, and quality concerns
• Investigate process deviations, product defects, and yield losses using root cause analysis tools
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdown resolution and planned preventive maintenance
• Update production records, process logs, and SOP documents in ERP or MES systems

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Which steel or foundry production process have you worked in - rolling, casting, or forging?
• How do you track OEE and identify the top downtime causes in your line?
• Have you managed shift production teams and conducted shift handover meetings?
• Describe a process problem you investigated and resolved using root cause analysis.
• Are you familiar with SAP PP or any ERP production module for scheduling?
• How do you handle a quality hold during a production shift?
• Have you worked with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 production documentation requirements?
