📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct bench-scale experiments for new specialty chemical formulations
• Test new formulations against target performance specifications and industry standards
• Characterise chemical products using analytical techniques including IR, NMR, and GC
• Conduct stability and shelf-life testing for new chemical products
• Perform literature searches and competitive benchmarking to guide formulation strategy
• Maintain detailed lab notebooks and prepare R and D reports and presentations
• Support scale-up of successful formulations from bench to pilot and commercial scale

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.Sc. Chemistry with a focus on organic, physical, polymer, or industrial chemistry
• Hands-on bench-scale formulation or synthesis experience in an industrial or academic setting
• Proficiency in analytical characterisation using IR, UV-Vis, GC, or NMR techniques
• Familiarity with stability testing protocols and shelf-life study design
• Good scientific documentation skills for lab notebooks and technical reports
• Curiosity-driven problem-solving approach with ability to design controlled experiments
• Awareness of intellectual property practices and confidentiality in industrial R and D
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
