📌 Key Responsibilities

• Operate compression or transfer rubber moulding presses to produce rubber seals, gaskets, and components
• Weigh and prepare rubber pre-forms or blanks for each mould cavity as per work instructions
• Set and monitor press temperature and cure time according to the product cure schedule
• Deflash moulded rubber parts using trimming tools or tumbling equipment
• Clean mould surfaces between cycles to prevent rubber contamination and adhesion
• Inspect finished rubber components for visual defects such as voids, tears, and incomplete fill
• Record production quantities, rejection counts, and process parameters in shift logs

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you operated a compression or transfer rubber moulding press?
• How do you prepare rubber pre-forms for a compression moulding cycle?
• What temperature and cure time parameters do you check before starting a rubber moulding press?
• How do you deflash rubber parts after demoulding?
