📌 Key Responsibilities

• Perform linear and non-linear finite element analysis on aerostructure components using MSC NASTRAN or Abaqus
• Calculate margins of safety for metallic and composite structural members under static, fatigue, and damage tolerance load cases
• Prepare and idealise FE models from CATIA geometry using HyperMesh or PATRAN meshing tools
• Write formal stress analysis reports and stress notes to aerospace documentation standards
• Support structural substantiation of engineering changes and new designs within design-build teams
• Perform composite laminate analysis using classical lamination theory and FEA to verify laminate strength
• Interpret aircraft loads data and apply limit and ultimate load conditions to structural analysis models

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have a B.E. or M.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering with at least one year of FEA-based structural analysis experience?
• Are you proficient in MSC NASTRAN or Abaqus for static, dynamic, or fatigue analysis of aerostructure components?
• Can you prepare and mesh FE models from CAD geometry using HyperMesh, PATRAN, or similar pre-processors?
• Do you have experience calculating margins of safety for metallic and composite structures under aerospace load cases?
• Are you familiar with damage tolerance analysis methodology and fatigue life prediction for metallic aerostructures?
• Can you write formal stress analysis reports and stress notes to aerospace documentation and release standards?
• Do you have knowledge of aerospace material properties, allowables databases, and material selection for aerostructure applications?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
