📌 Key Responsibilities

• Raise and track purchase orders for aerospace components, raw materials, and consumables using SAP MM or equivalent ERP
• Follow up with domestic and international suppliers on delivery commitments and escalate delays to supply chain manager
• Manage import documentation including bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of conformance, and airworthiness release tags
• Coordinate with customs broker for customs clearance of imported aerospace parts and manage advance licence and EPCG scheme benefits
• Evaluate and qualify new suppliers against AS9100 quality system requirements and maintain approved supplier list
• Monitor supplier delivery performance, on-time delivery metrics, and lead time trends for key aerospace component categories
• Ensure compliance with export control regulations and SCOMET requirements for dual-use aerospace materials and equipment

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have a Graduate or B.E. degree with knowledge of aerospace component procurement or EXIM trade procedures?
• Are you familiar with SAP MM or any ERP system for raising and tracking purchase orders for imported components?
• Do you have experience managing import documentation and coordinating with customs brokers for aerospace component clearance?
• Are you aware of advance licence and EPCG scheme benefits applicable to aerospace component importers in India?
• Have you followed up with international suppliers on delivery schedules and managed expediting for critical aerospace parts?
• Do you understand AS9100 supplier qualification requirements and approved supplier list management procedures?
• Are you aware of SCOMET export control categories and dual-use regulations applicable to aerospace components in India?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
