📌 Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and follow up with auto component suppliers to ensure on-time delivery against production requirements
• Process purchase orders and coordinate with vendors for delivery confirmation
• Track inbound shipments and coordinate with logistics for timely receipt
• Maintain material planning data in ERP and update procurement schedules
• Escalate shortages to procurement manager and production planning team
• Track supplier delivery performance metrics such as OTD and rejection rates
• Prepare weekly procurement MIS and shortage status reports for plant management
• Coordinate with stores and production planning for inventory management

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have experience scheduling and following up with auto component vendors for material delivery?
• Are you familiar with material requirement planning (MRP) and purchase order processing?
• Do you have experience using an ERP system for procurement and supply chain activities?
• Can you track inbound logistics and coordinate with freight and clearing agents?
• Have you prepared supplier delivery performance reports including OTD and rejection tracking?
• Are you comfortable escalating material shortages and coordinating resolution with multiple teams?
• Do you have knowledge of auto component part numbering, BOMs, and production scheduling?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
