📌 Key Responsibilities
- Visit industrial customers across assigned territory to promote and sell specialty chemical products
- Provide technical product demonstrations, application support, and troubleshooting guidance to customer plant teams
- Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals and quotations to procurement and technical teams
- Build and maintain key account relationships with production and purchase managers at customer sites
- Track and report sales pipeline, customer interactions, and order status through CRM system
- Gather market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and new customer opportunities
- Coordinate with internal production and logistics teams for timely order fulfilment and delivery
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- B.Sc. Chemistry or B.E. Chemical Engineering preferred; MBA with chemistry background is also considered
- 0-4 years of field sales or application support experience in specialty chemicals, lubricants, coatings, or water treatment
- Ability to understand and explain specialty chemical product properties and application benefits to technical customers
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory in Tamil Nadu or pan-India depending on employer
- Good communication and presentation skills in English and Tamil for customer-facing interactions
- Familiarity with CRM tools and basic sales reporting disciplines
- Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage a customer territory and sales targets
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
