📌 Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the EV product engineering roadmap including battery system, powertrain, software, and vehicle electronics development
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams spanning BMS, embedded software, motor design, power electronics, and vehicle validation
• Own the engineering budget including R and D spending, CapEx for test infrastructure, and engineering headcount planning
• Drive ISO 26262 functional safety programme governance and ensure ASIL compliance across all EV electronic systems
• Build partnerships with battery cell suppliers, motor manufacturers, and power electronics vendors to secure technology and supply commitments
• Represent the company in regulatory discussions with government agencies on EV homologation, safety standards, and subsidy programmes
• Hire and develop senior engineering leaders including chief engineers, engineering managers, and technical fellows across EV disciplines
