• Define and enforce academic quality standards, content accuracy benchmarks, and pedagogical guidelines across the full content library.
• Own the content roadmap, planning new subject launches, syllabus expansions, and content refresh cycles aligned with board and examination pattern updates.
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing academic content team, conducting regular performance reviews and identifying skill development needs.
• Partner with product management to align content production priorities with platform feature development and learner experience improvements.
• Establish content quality review processes and audit frameworks to ensure consistent accuracy, engagement quality, and curriculum alignment across all published content.
• Represent the academic function in leadership discussions, providing insights on content effectiveness, learner outcome trends, and competitive academic positioning.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.Sc. in a core subject or B.Ed. with seven to fifteen years of progressive experience in academic content leadership within an EdTech or publishing organisation.
• Demonstrated track record of building and managing academic content teams covering multiple subjects at K-12 or higher education levels.
• Deep understanding of CBSE, ICSE, State board, and competitive examination syllabi relevant to the company's product scope.
• Strong academic quality consciousness with experience establishing content review processes, accuracy audits, and editorial standards at scale.
• Proven ability to plan content roadmaps, manage production timelines, and deliver large-scale content libraries on schedule.
• Excellent people leadership skills with experience mentoring subject matter experts and content writers from different academic backgrounds.
• Strong cross-functional communication ability to collaborate with product, technology, marketing, and operations teams as the academic function's senior representative.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
