📌 Key Responsibilities

• Issue domestic and international airline tickets using Amadeus or Galileo GDS as per customer requirements.
• Create, modify, and manage passenger name records (PNRs) accurately for individual and group bookings.
• Apply correct airline fare rules, booking classes, and fare basis codes during ticket issuance.
• Process ticket cancellations, reissuances, and refunds in accordance with airline fare rules and agency policy.
• Handle BSP reporting and ticket reconciliation tasks as assigned by the ticketing supervisor.
• Assist customers with flight options, connection timings, baggage allowances, and airline documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with airline reservations desks and GSAs to resolve booking errors and special service requests.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline or IATA Fares and Ticketing Foundation certification from an accredited IATA training centre.
• 0 to 3 years of GDS ticketing experience using Amadeus or Galileo in a private travel agency.
• Proficiency in at least one major GDS platform for PNR creation, fare display, and ticket issuance.
• Knowledge of airline fare rules, booking class codes, minimum connecting times, and international routing.
• Understanding of BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) ticketing cycles and agency debit memos.
• Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy for fare calculations and ticket data entry.
• Tamil and English communication skills for handling customer queries and airline correspondence.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
