📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for CEO / MD positions in Coimbatore's private Travel Agency and Tour Operator sector. 📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategic direction, P and L accountability, and operational governance of the tour operator business.
• Manage IATA accreditation, TAAI membership compliance, and all regulatory and licensing obligations of the company.
• Drive product development, destination portfolio expansion, and new tour product launches for domestic and outbound markets.
• Build and oversee the sales, operations, marketing, and finance leadership team to deliver annual business targets.
• Develop and manage relationships with international DMC partners, overseas B2B agents, and airline commercial teams.
• Lead investor relations, fundraising, or ownership management activities as relevant to the company structure.
• Represent the tour operator in industry forums, TAAI events, and media as the public face of the brand.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA from a recognised business school or Graduate in Tourism with substantial senior executive leadership experience.
• 12 to 25 years of travel industry experience with at least 5 years in a CEO, MD, or senior director role.
• Proven P and L management of a tour operator business with demonstrated revenue growth and profitability results.
• Deep knowledge of IATA accreditation requirements, TAAI regulatory norms, and travel industry compliance in India.
• Experience developing international B2B agent networks, DMC partnerships, and airline commercial agreements.
• Strong strategic thinking, brand leadership, and stakeholder management capability for senior travel industry leadership.
• Track record in building and scaling a travel agency or tour operator business in the Indian market.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
