📌 Key Responsibilities
- Manage all last-mile delivery hubs within the assigned area and ensure daily delivery SLA, beat efficiency, and COD compliance targets are met
- Supervise hub in-charges across the area through daily MIS review, floor visits, and performance coaching sessions
- Identify root causes of non-delivery, high RTO rates, and COD shortfalls at specific hubs and implement corrective action plans
- Plan area-level manpower requirements including delivery executive headcount, sorter staffing, and hub in-charge succession
- Drive beat optimization initiatives in consultation with route planning executives to improve deliveries per executive per day
- Manage key shipper escalations at the area level for delivery failures and loss or damage claims requiring area authority
- Report area-level daily and weekly performance to the operations manager with root cause analysis and recovery plans for lagging hubs
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate or MBA in Logistics, Operations, or related field from a recognized institution
- 3 - 8 Years of experience in last-mile delivery operations with at least 1 to 2 years in a hub in-charge or branch management role
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple delivery hubs simultaneously with accountability for SLA, COD, and volume growth
- Strong knowledge of beat planning, delivery executive management, and hub operations SOPs in courier or e-commerce delivery
- Good people management skills for developing hub in-charges and resolving floor-level operations issues quickly
- Proficiency in Excel and courier operations dashboards for area MIS reporting and performance tracking
- Willingness to travel across the assigned area daily for hub visits, floor audits, and client interaction
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
