📌 Key Responsibilities
- Collect COD amounts from hub in-charges and delivery executives daily and verify cash against the COD delivery manifest for each hub
- Reconcile daily COD collections denomination-wise and identify discrepancies between collected amounts and manifest values
- Process COD remittances to shippers via NEFT or cheque within the agreed remittance cycle as per the company's COD policy
- Maintain daily COD collection and remittance ledgers in Excel and prepare weekly COD settlement reports for finance
- Follow up with hubs showing COD shortfalls and escalate unresolved remittance discrepancies to the branch manager and finance team
- Coordinate with the bank for daily cash deposits and maintain deposit receipts against each hub's COD collection
- Assist in monthly COD audits by providing remittance records, deposit proofs, and shipper settlement confirmations to the finance team
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or any stream from a recognized institution
- 0 - 3 Years of experience in cash handling, accounts, COD remittance, or logistics finance roles; freshers with numeracy skills welcome
- Strong numeracy skills and accuracy in handling large-volume daily cash reconciliation across multiple hubs
- Proficiency in MS Excel for daily COD registers, discrepancy tracking, and weekly settlement MIS
- Understanding of NEFT and cheque-based remittance processes for B2C shipper COD payments
- Attention to detail and integrity in managing cash with zero tolerance for remittance errors or delays
- Good communication skills for coordinating with hub in-charges and finance team on COD discrepancies and shortfalls
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
