📌 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for all civil and finishing works for new project phases and variations.
• Verify subcontractor work completion through joint measurements before processing invoice payments.
• Maintain site measurement books with accurate recorded quantities for all construction items.
• Prepare rate analysis for new work items or variations not covered in the original contract.
• Process monthly running account bills for civil, MEP, and finishing subcontractors as per contract terms.
• Reconcile material quantities issued to subcontractors against work billed to identify consumption variances.
• Coordinate with the project manager and accounts team on bill approval workflows and payment schedules.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. in Civil Engineering with 1 to 5 years of experience in contractor billing or quantity surveying.
• Proficiency in preparing BOQ documents and rate analysis for residential apartment construction works.
• Strong MS Excel skills for maintaining measurement records, bill trackers, and quantity reconciliation sheets.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD for extracting quantities from structural and architectural drawings.
• Understanding of construction contracts, retention clauses, and variation order processing in real estate projects.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in quantity measurement and invoice verification.
• Familiarity with standard schedule of rates (DSR or CPWD) for rate analysis purposes is an advantage.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
