📌 Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash receipts and payments for loan disbursements, repayments, and interest collections at the branch
• Maintain vault cash within prescribed limits and coordinate cash pickup and delivery with security agencies
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and prepare cash books and reports for branch management
• Verify currency notes for authenticity and process cash transactions accurately as per branch SOPs
• Update customer transactions in the core banking or loan management software in real time
• Maintain proper documentation and records for all cash transactions for audit purposes
• Coordinate with the branch manager on cash requirements, surplus reporting, and insurance limits

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Any Graduate with 0-3 years of cash handling experience, preferably in a bank, NBFC, or retail branch
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail for cash handling and reconciliation
• Familiarity with core banking or loan management software is an advantage
• Trustworthy with a clean background given the cash-handling nature of the role
• Basic computer proficiency including MS Office and data entry
• Good communication skills for customer-facing cash counter interactions
• Ability to work within branch operating hours including Saturdays as per business needs
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Any Graduate for most branch roles; IIBF (Indian Institute of Banking and Finance) certification for banking/NBFC roles preferred; Gold appraisal and hallmarking certification for appraiser roles; NISM certification for credit and risk roles; RBI-mandated KYC/AML training for all customer-facing roles; Diploma in Gemology or Jewellery Technology an advantage for appraiser roles
