📌 Key Responsibilities

• Ensure company-wide compliance with RBI NBFC directions, fair practices code, and gold loan-specific regulations
• Prepare and submit periodic regulatory filings and returns required by the RBI for NBFC operations
• Develop, update, and roll out KYC/AML and gold loan policy documentation across the branch network
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting NBFC gold loan operations and advise management on required actions
• Liaise with RBI, statutory auditors, and other regulatory bodies during inspections and audits
• Investigate and report compliance breaches or customer grievances escalated under the fair practices code
• Conduct compliance training sessions for branch and regional staff on regulatory requirements

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• LLB, Company Secretary, or MBA with 3-9 years of NBFC or banking regulatory compliance experience
• Strong knowledge of RBI NBFC directions, fair practices code, and gold loan sector-specific regulations
• Experience preparing and submitting regulatory filings and returns to the RBI
• Excellent policy documentation and communication skills for company-wide compliance rollout
• Ability to liaise confidently with regulators, auditors, and senior management
• Strong ethical judgement and independence in reporting compliance issues
• Experience conducting compliance training for branch and field staff
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Any Graduate for most branch roles; IIBF (Indian Institute of Banking and Finance) certification for banking/NBFC roles preferred; Gold appraisal and hallmarking certification for appraiser roles; NISM certification for credit and risk roles; RBI-mandated KYC/AML training for all customer-facing roles; Diploma in Gemology or Jewellery Technology an advantage for appraiser roles
