📌 Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy machine learning models for credit risk scoring, fraud detection, and customer churn prediction
• Perform exploratory data analysis on financial transaction data, customer behavior data, and bureau feeds
• Engineer predictive features from raw payment, lending, and behavioral data for model training
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics including AUC, KS, F1, and population stability index
• Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize ML models via REST APIs or batch scoring pipelines
• Design and analyze A/B experiments to measure the business impact of new ML-driven product features
• Document model methodologies, assumptions, and performance benchmarks for regulatory and audit review

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.Sc. in Statistics, Data Science, or related field, or B.E./B.Tech in CS with strong ML coursework
• 1 - 5 Years of experience building ML models in a fintech, banking, or data product company
• Strong Python skills including pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, and LightGBM for model development
• Hands-on experience with credit scoring, fraud detection, or churn prediction use cases
• Solid SQL skills for large-scale financial data extraction and feature query development
• Familiarity with ML model deployment patterns using Flask, FastAPI, or cloud ML platforms
• Bonus: experience with graph ML for fraud network detection or NLP for document-based lending
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
