📌 Key Responsibilities

• Pick up completed food orders from the kitchen counter and dispatch them to delivery customers within the promised time.
• Operate the Zomato, Swiggy, or in-house delivery app to accept orders, update order status, and mark delivery completion.
• Navigate Coimbatore roads efficiently using maps to reach the customer's location within the brand's delivery time standard.
• Handle customer handover with correct packaging verification and collect payment for cash-on-delivery orders.
• Return to the outlet promptly after each delivery to minimise idle time and support back-to-back order fulfilment.
• Report delayed orders, wrong address issues, or customer complaints to the store manager immediately after the incident.
• Maintain the delivery bike in roadworthy condition, keep valid documents updated, and report maintenance issues promptly.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 12th pass certificate required; valid two-wheeler driving licence is mandatory for all delivery executive roles.
• Familiarity with Zomato, Swiggy, or similar food delivery app interfaces for receiving and managing orders.
• Good knowledge of Coimbatore roads and neighbourhoods within the outlet's delivery radius for efficient routing.
• Physical fitness for active on-road delivery work across multiple trips during a full shift.
• Honest cash-handling for COD orders with accurate remittance to the store cashier at shift end.
• Punctuality and time management skills to consistently meet the delivery time promises made to customers.
• Ownership of a reliable two-wheeler with valid insurance and registration documents is preferred by most QSR brands.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
