📌 Key Responsibilities
- Design HT and LT electrical systems for solar plants including switchgear selection, protection relay coordination, and substation single line diagrams
- Prepare cable schedules, load flow studies, and short circuit analysis using ETAP or similar power system analysis software
- Design earthing and lightning protection systems for solar plants as per IEC 62305 and CEA earthing regulations
- Review equipment data sheets for transformers, HT panels, LT panels, inverters, and protection relays and prepare technical purchase specifications
- Coordinate with TANGEDCO and electrical inspectors for HT connection approval, substation commissioning, and metering agreements
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with CEA general regulations on safety and CEA technical standards for solar connectivity
- Support project engineers during substation erection, HT cable jointing, protection relay testing, and commissioning
