📌 Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer service calls, emails, and app-based service requests from rooftop solar plant owners in Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu
• Log and categorise service tickets in the CRM system and assign them to the appropriate field technician based on issue type and location
• Coordinate with field O and M technicians for site visits to resolve inverter faults, module issues, and wiring problems at customer premises
• Process warranty claims for faulty inverters and modules by coordinating with suppliers and tracking replacement dispatch and installation
• Manage AMC renewal outreach, prepare renewal quotations, and follow up to retain customers on annual maintenance contracts
• Track customer satisfaction scores after each service closure and escalate unresolved issues to the service manager
• Prepare weekly service reports covering ticket volumes, resolution times, first-time fix rates, and pending escalations

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• How do you handle an angry residential solar customer who says their system has not generated power for three days and the technician has not yet visited?
• Describe the process you follow from the time a service ticket is raised to the time it is closed in the CRM
• How do you coordinate a warranty replacement for a faulty string inverter under the manufacturer warranty?
• What information do you gather from a customer when they first report a solar system fault over the phone?
• How do you manage AMC renewal outreach for 200 customers whose contracts are expiring in the next three months?
• What metrics do you track to measure service team performance and customer satisfaction?
• Describe how you escalate a service ticket that has been open for five days without resolution
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

B.E. Electrical or Mechanical for solar project engineer and design engineer roles; Diploma Electrical for solar installation technician and O and M technician roles; ITI Electrician for solar rooftop installation and maintenance roles; MNRE solar installer certification preferred for rooftop solar technician roles; AutoCAD and PVSyst for solar design engineer roles; MBA or Graduate for solar sales and business development roles; PGDM Energy Management from TERI or IGNOU for renewable energy management roles; knowledge of net metering regulations and TANGEDCO grid connectivity norms for sales and project roles in Tamil Nadu; basic electrical safety certification for all site roles
