📌 Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of the solar EPC project portfolio across Tamil Nadu and other states, including all revenue, cost, quality, and delivery KPIs
- Lead a team of project managers, project engineers, and site teams executing simultaneous rooftop and ground mount solar projects at multiple sites
- Manage EPC contract risk including back-to-back sub-contract structures, performance guarantees, liquidated damages, and variation order control
- Oversee project cash flow, billing milestones, and receivables in coordination with the finance team to maintain healthy project working capital
- Develop and present portfolio performance reports, forecast-to-complete analyses, and risk registers to the CEO and board
- Build strategic vendor and sub-contractor relationships to secure capacity, competitive pricing, and priority service for the project portfolio
- Lead the selection, development, and performance management of project management talent across the EPC delivery organisation
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- Describe how you built and managed a solar EPC project delivery organisation to execute more than 50 MW of capacity in a single year
- How do you structure EPC contracts to protect the company from liquidated damages and scope creep from clients?
- Describe your approach to managing project cash flow across a portfolio of 10 simultaneous solar EPC projects
- How do you handle a situation where a key sub-contractor fails mid-project and you need to demobilise and replace them?
- What project management systems and tools do you implement to give real-time visibility across a large solar EPC portfolio?
- How do you manage CXO-level client relationships at large corporate solar customers to ensure repeat business?
- Describe how you built and developed a high-performing solar project management team from scratch
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

B.E. Electrical or Mechanical for solar project engineer and design engineer roles; Diploma Electrical for solar installation technician and O and M technician roles; ITI Electrician for solar rooftop installation and maintenance roles; MNRE solar installer certification preferred for rooftop solar technician roles; AutoCAD and PVSyst for solar design engineer roles; MBA or Graduate for solar sales and business development roles; PGDM Energy Management from TERI or IGNOU for renewable energy management roles; knowledge of net metering regulations and TANGEDCO grid connectivity norms for sales and project roles in Tamil Nadu; basic electrical safety certification for all site roles
