📌 Key Responsibilities

• Set up dining area tables with linens, cutlery, condiments, and mise en place to hotel service standards before each meal period.
• Greet guests, present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and relay them to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly following the correct sequence of service and tray-carrying protocols.
• Operate the POS billing terminal to enter orders, generate bills, process cash and card payments, and issue receipts.
• Deliver room service orders to guest rooms accurately within the hotel's stipulated service time targets.
• Replenish buffet dishes, beverages, and condiments during breakfast and meal service periods.
• Clear and reset tables after each cover and maintain dining area cleanliness throughout the service period.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 12th pass from a recognised board or Diploma in Hotel Management (Food and Beverage Service) from an AICTE-approved institute.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in a hotel restaurant, guest house dining area, or food service outlet.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, tray carrying, and table setup procedures.
• Ability to operate a POS billing terminal and handle guest payments accurately.
• Good spoken Tamil; basic English for menu communication and interaction with non-Tamil-speaking guests.
• Neat appearance, pleasant personality, and courteous attitude for guest-facing dining service.
• Willingness to work split shifts, breakfast shifts, and weekend duties as required by hotel food service operations.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
