📌 Key Responsibilities
- Track all delivery vehicles and linehaul trucks assigned to the branch using the GPS fleet management system throughout the day
- Schedule vehicle and driver allocation for daily hub-to-hub linehaul runs and delivery executive fleet requirements
- Coordinate scheduled and breakdown maintenance of all vehicles with garage vendors and ensure minimal downtime impact on operations
- Monitor vehicle fuel consumption, mileage, and productivity metrics and flag anomalies to the branch manager
- Maintain vehicle documentation including RC, insurance, pollution certificate, and driver licence validity records and follow up for renewals
- Manage vehicle hiring contracts with third-party fleet vendors and verify trip completion against invoices for billing approval
- Prepare monthly fleet MIS covering vehicle utilization, fuel cost per kilometre, maintenance spend, and downtime incidents for management review
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate degree from a recognized institution
- 0 - 3 Years of experience in fleet coordination, vehicle operations, logistics transport management, or related roles
- Familiarity with GPS fleet tracking platforms and vehicle telematics dashboards used in courier and logistics companies
- Basic knowledge of vehicle documentation compliance including RC, insurance, and pollution certificate requirements
- Good vendor coordination and negotiation skills for managing garage service relationships and third-party fleet hirers
- Proficiency in MS Excel for fleet MIS, fuel register maintenance, and vehicle utilization tracking
- Attention to detail for tracking document validity deadlines, vendor invoice verification, and GPS anomaly identification
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
