📌 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time transaction streams to detect and flag fraudulent payment activity using rule engines
• Investigate flagged transactions and customer accounts to determine fraud versus legitimate activity
• Analyze patterns in chargeback data, dispute trends, and fraud typologies to improve detection rules
• Configure and tune rule-based fraud detection parameters to balance fraud catch rate and false positive rate
• Collaborate with data science teams to evaluate and deploy ML-based fraud scoring models in production
• Prepare daily fraud loss reports and trend analysis for risk management leadership
• Liaise with payment networks, issuing banks, and acquiring partners to share fraud intelligence

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate or B.E./B.Tech degree from a recognized institution
• 0 - 4 Years of experience in fraud analysis, payment risk, or transaction monitoring roles
• Knowledge of rule-based fraud detection systems and transaction monitoring platforms
• Basic SQL skills for querying transaction databases and building fraud investigation queries
• Familiarity with fraud typologies including account takeover, synthetic identity, and card-not-present fraud
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify anomalies and patterns in large transaction datasets
• Bonus: exposure to Python for basic data analysis and rule performance evaluation tasks
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
