📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead operations across multiple travel agency branches or functional teams including ticketing, visa, tours, and forex.
• Develop and implement operations SOPs, quality standards, and productivity benchmarks across the agency network.
• Manage senior operations managers, supervisors, and functional heads with a focus on performance and accountability.
• Oversee IATA compliance, FEMA forex regulations, and all statutory and licensing requirements for the agency.
• Drive technology adoption including CRM systems, booking platforms, and internal process automation initiatives.
• Monitor multi-branch P and L, revenue targets, operating costs, and vendor contract performance.
• Collaborate with sales and product leadership to align operations capacity with business growth targets.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA in Operations or Tourism Graduate from a recognised university with senior travel industry management experience.
• 8 to 16 years of travel agency experience with at least 4 years in a senior operations management or head of operations role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of travel agency functions including ticketing, visa, forex, tours, and corporate travel.
• Demonstrated experience in SOP design, multi-branch process standardisation, and operational quality management.
• Strong people leadership with experience managing teams of 30 or more across multi-location travel operations.
• Deep knowledge of IATA regulations, FEMA forex compliance, and travel industry licensing requirements in India.
• Analytical and commercial mindset with experience in P and L management and operational cost optimisation.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
