📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all hotel operations including rooms, food and beverage, sales, maintenance, housekeeping, and accounts.
• Develop and execute the hotel's annual revenue and expense budget, monitoring monthly P and L performance.
• Drive occupancy and revenue growth through OTA optimisation, corporate sales, and competitive rate strategy.
• Build and manage the hotel's department head team, conducting performance reviews and succession planning.
• Maintain the hotel's online reputation by monitoring and responding to guest reviews across all platforms.
• Oversee statutory compliance including FSSAI, fire safety, police verification, and tourism department requirements.
• Report property performance, operational issues, and capital investment requirements to the hotel owner or management company.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• BHM from a recognised hotel management institute or MBA in Hospitality Management from a recognised business school.
• 6 to 15 years of progressive hotel operations experience with at least 2 to 3 years in a department head or hotel manager role.
• Proven P and L management experience for a hotel property with demonstrated results in revenue and cost management.
• Strong leadership and people management skills for building and developing multi-department hotel teams.
• Knowledge of OTA management, revenue optimisation, and online reputation management for budget hotel properties.
• Understanding of hotel statutory compliance requirements under Tamil Nadu and central government regulations.
• Excellent English and Tamil communication for owner relations, team leadership, and guest management.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Diploma or Graduate in Hotel Management (BHM/DHM) from AICTE-approved institutes for management trainee and supervisory roles; 12th pass or Graduate for housekeeping, front office, and F and B service roles; FSSAI food handler certification for F and B production staff; basic computer skills and Opera PMS or similar hotel property management system training for front office; first aid and fire safety certification for hotel operations staff; spoken English and Tamil for guest-facing roles; knowledge of OTA (online travel agency) booking portals and revenue management basics for front office roles
