📌 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic branch audits covering cash management, vault security, and gold stock verification
• Verify KYC documentation, loan files, and appraisal records for compliance with company and RBI norms
• Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and potential fraud indicators during branch visits
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk ratings, and corrective action recommendations
• Follow up on previous audit findings to ensure timely closure of corrective actions by branches
• Coordinate with area and regional management on systemic issues identified across multiple branches
• Support statutory and RBI inspection requirements with accurate branch-level documentation

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Com, CA Inter, or MBA Finance with 2-7 years of branch audit or internal audit experience, preferably in NBFC or banking
• Strong knowledge of gold loan operations, KYC/AML norms, and RBI compliance requirements
• Analytical skills for identifying control weaknesses and fraud risk indicators during audits
• Good report writing skills for clear, actionable audit findings and recommendations
• Willingness to travel extensively across branches within the assigned audit territory
• Integrity and independence in reporting audit findings without branch management influence
• Familiarity with audit software and MS Excel for audit planning and documentation
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Any Graduate for most branch roles; IIBF (Indian Institute of Banking and Finance) certification for banking/NBFC roles preferred; Gold appraisal and hallmarking certification for appraiser roles; NISM certification for credit and risk roles; RBI-mandated KYC/AML training for all customer-facing roles; Diploma in Gemology or Jewellery Technology an advantage for appraiser roles
