📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop integrated media plans across television, print, radio, outdoor, and digital channels aligned with client campaign objectives and budgets
• Analyse audience data, GRP targets, reach and frequency metrics, and CPM benchmarks to build efficient media schedules for client campaigns
• Prepare and present media proposals to account managers and clients, explaining channel rationale, audience targeting, and budget allocation decisions
• Co-ordinate with media vendors and publishing houses to obtain rate cards, negotiate media packages, and confirm space and airtime bookings
• Monitor live campaign delivery against planned GRP and impression targets and report variance and corrective actions to the media manager
• Compile post-campaign media delivery reports comparing planned versus achieved reach, frequency, GRPs, and cost efficiency metrics
• Track media market trends, new format launches, and seasonal rate movements to advise clients on optimal media planning timing and channel mix

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Advertising, Marketing, or any discipline with interest in media planning and analytics
• Understanding of media planning concepts including GRP, TRP, reach, frequency, CPM, and cost-per-GRP for television and print media
• Familiarity with audience measurement tools and media research data used for television planning in the Indian market
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for media schedule preparation, budget tracking, and post-campaign delivery reporting
• Ability to analyse media options across TV, print, radio, outdoor, and digital and compare them objectively based on audience delivery and cost efficiency
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail for managing media budgets, booking confirmations, and campaign delivery metrics accurately
• 0 to 3 years of experience in media planning, media buying, or a related advertising operations role at an agency or media house
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
