📌 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) works across all floors of the residential project.
• Review MEP drawings and ensure electrical conduit, plumbing, and drainage installations follow approved designs.
• Coordinate with MEP subcontractors for scheduling, material delivery, and daily progress on all services.
• Inspect completed electrical, plumbing, and firefighting works for quality compliance before plastering or closing walls.
• Liaise with civil site engineers to resolve clashes between structural and MEP elements during construction.
• Prepare MEP work completion reports and snag lists for quality review before occupancy certificate application.
• Monitor testing and commissioning of electrical panels, plumbing systems, lifts, and fire alarm systems.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 2 to 7 years of MEP supervision experience on residential apartment or commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings including electrical SLD, plumbing layout, and HVAC schematics.
• Knowledge of NBC (National Building Code) and TNEB regulations relevant to electrical installations in multi-storey buildings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP for drawing review and clash coordination with civil structural drawings.
• Experience coordinating multiple MEP subcontractors simultaneously on large residential projects.
• Familiarity with green building concepts and energy-efficient MEP design is an advantage for senior roles.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
