📌 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate MICE travel programmes including corporate conferences, incentive tours, and team offsites.
• Source and book conference venues, hotels, and meeting facilities for corporate MICE clients in India and abroad.
• Coordinate group airline ticketing for MICE departures through the ticketing team and GDS booking processes.
• Design incentive tour programmes with destination activities, FandB experiences, and team engagement elements.
• Negotiate group room rates, conference packages, and FandB minimums with hotel sales teams for MICE bookings.
• Manage delegate lists, travel document collection, visa coordination, and pre-departure communication packs.
• Track MICE programme budgets, vendor invoices, and prepare cost reconciliation reports post-event.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline or BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management) from a recognised hospitality or tourism institute.
• 0 to 4 years of experience in MICE travel coordination, events, or corporate travel management.
• Understanding of MICE programme planning including conference logistics, incentive design, and group transport.
• Ability to source and negotiate group hotel rates, conference packages, and ground services for corporate groups.
• Experience coordinating group visa applications, delegate documentation, and pre-departure communication.
• Good English communication for corporate client correspondence and overseas hotel and ground partner liaison.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple MICE programmes simultaneously with tight deadlines.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

IATA Diploma or IATA Fares and Ticketing Foundation for airline ticketing roles; GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre) training certification for ticketing and reservations staff; Graduate or Diploma in Tourism for travel consultant and operations roles; knowledge of Schengen, UK, US, and Canada visa documentation for visa assistance roles; TAAI (Travel Agents Association of India) membership awareness; foreign exchange and forex documentation knowledge for international travel roles; Tamil and English communication for customer-facing roles; knowledge of Tamil Nadu and South India pilgrimage circuits for domestic tour roles
