📌 Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the company's mobile learning application on Android or iOS using Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Develop and optimise video playback features including streaming, offline download, playback speed control, and DRM-protected content delivery.
• Implement push notification workflows for class reminders, new content alerts, assignment deadlines, and streak-based engagement nudges.
• Build offline content access features allowing learners to download lessons and watch them without internet connectivity on mobile devices.
• Integrate REST APIs for user authentication, course catalog fetching, learner progress sync, and assessment submission within the mobile app.
• Optimise app performance for low-end Android devices prevalent among the student demographic, minimising crashes and ensuring smooth video playback.
• Deploy app updates to Google Play Store and Apple App Store, managing version control, staged rollouts, and user review response workflows.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E., B.Tech, or BCA in Computer Science or IT with one to five years of mobile application development experience.
• Proficiency in Flutter, React Native, or native Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development with at least one production app delivery.
• Experience integrating video player SDKs such as ExoPlayer, AVPlayer, or custom video player libraries within mobile learning applications.
• Understanding of offline data sync, local storage with SQLite or Hive, and content download management for low-connectivity learner environments.
• Experience with push notification implementation using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) or equivalent services on Android and iOS.
• Familiarity with Play Store and App Store deployment processes including release management, crash monitoring, and staged rollout configuration.
• Performance-oriented mindset with experience profiling and optimising mobile apps for battery efficiency, memory usage, and smooth rendering on mid-range devices.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
