📌 Key Responsibilities
- Monitor RBI master directions, circulars, and notifications and assess their impact on the fintech business model
- Ensure the company meets all compliance requirements under PA-PG license, PPI license, or NBFC registration
- Prepare and file periodic regulatory returns to RBI, FIU-IND, and other regulators within prescribed timelines
- Review new product features and operational processes for regulatory compliance before launch
- Conduct internal compliance audits and identify gaps in adherence to RBI and PMLA requirements
- Liaise with RBI inspection teams during on-site examinations and coordinate information submission
- Train operations, product, and engineering teams on applicable regulatory requirements and compliance obligations
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- LLB, CA, MBA in Finance/Law, or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution
- 3 - 8 Years of regulatory compliance experience in a fintech, NBFC, or banking institution
- Deep knowledge of RBI Master Directions on NBFC, Payment Aggregators, Prepaid Instruments, and Digital Lending
- Experience filing regulatory returns and managing RBI correspondence and examination coordination
- Understanding of PMLA, FATF AML standards, and FIU-IND reporting requirements
- Strong documentation and analytical skills for policy drafting and compliance gap assessment
- Ability to interpret evolving regulatory guidance and translate it into actionable compliance frameworks for fintech operations
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
