📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the research practice of the market research company, setting methodology standards, quality benchmarks, and innovation priorities across all research disciplines
• Define and champion the company's consumer insight proposition and research capability positioning in the Coimbatore and South India market
• Build and mentor a team of research managers, consumer insights managers, and senior executives across qualitative, quantitative, and digital research functions
• Own the research quality assurance framework ensuring all client deliverables meet the highest methodology and reporting standards
• Drive new business development by leading large pitch presentations and designing integrated research programmes for new client prospects
• Represent the company at industry forums, client advisory boards, and professional associations as a thought leader in consumer research
• Collaborate with the MD and CEO on research product innovation, pricing strategy, and geographic expansion of research capabilities

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA or Graduate in Statistics, Marketing, Psychology, or Social Sciences with ten to twenty years of progressive market research leadership experience
• Recognised expertise in advanced research methodology spanning quantitative, qualitative, ethnographic, and digital consumer research
• Proven track record of leading and building high-performing research teams of fifteen or more professionals
• Demonstrated commercial success in new business development and research account revenue growth
• Exceptional communication and thought leadership capabilities for representing the research company at senior external forums
• Experience managing research practice P and L and contributing to the overall commercial performance of the company
• Deep knowledge of the Coimbatore and South India consumer market across FMCG, retail, healthcare, and media categories
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
