📌 Key Responsibilities

• Moderate focus group discussions and conduct in-depth interviews with consumers as per project discussion guides and research objectives
• Design and refine qualitative discussion guides and topic lists in consultation with senior researchers and clients
• Conduct ethnographic and observational research at homes, retail locations, and consumption occasions as assigned
• Transcribe, code, and thematically analyse qualitative interview and FGD recordings using NVivo or manual coding frameworks
• Prepare qualitative research reports with consumer verbatims, insight themes, and strategic implications for client delivery
• Assist in recruiting suitable respondents for qualitative studies by coordinating with field and recruitment teams
• Support senior managers in developing qualitative research proposals and presenting findings to client teams

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate or MBA in Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, or Social Sciences with interest in consumer behaviour
• Ability to moderate group discussions and conduct one-on-one consumer interviews in Tamil and English
• Familiarity with qualitative research methods including FGD, IDI, ethnography, and projective techniques
• Basic experience with NVivo, Atlas.ti, or manual thematic coding for qualitative data analysis
• Strong listening skills and the ability to probe consumer responses to uncover latent insights
• Good report writing skills with the ability to integrate consumer verbatims and thematic findings clearly
• Freshers with social science backgrounds and research internship experience are welcome to apply
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
