📌 Key Responsibilities
- Manage O and M operations for a portfolio of rooftop and ground mount solar plants totalling multiple MW of installed capacity across Tamil Nadu
- Lead a team of O and M technicians, site engineers, and SCADA operators to ensure plants perform above contracted performance ratio benchmarks
- Monitor plant generation data, performance ratios, and specific yield metrics and initiate corrective actions for underperforming assets
- Manage AMC renewals, spare part inventories, and maintenance budgets for the O and M portfolio
- Review and analyse plant failure data, inverter availability, and module degradation trends to prioritise preventive maintenance activities
- Coordinate with inverter, module, and BOS component suppliers for warranty claims, service support, and technical escalations
- Prepare monthly and annual O and M performance reports and present asset health summaries to plant owners and senior management
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- How do you manage the O and M operations of a 50 MW solar portfolio spread across 20 sites with a team of 15 technicians?
- What performance ratio thresholds trigger escalation in your O and M contract and how do you identify the root cause of performance shortfall?
- Describe how you plan and execute a major preventive maintenance campaign for a 10 MW ground mount solar plant
- How do you manage inverter spare parts inventory and what criteria do you use to stock critical spares?
- What KPIs do you track as an O and M manager for a solar portfolio and how do you report them to asset owners?
- How do you handle a situation where a 2 MW solar plant has been generating 15 percent below PR guarantee for two consecutive months?
- Describe your experience managing O and M contracts including SLA definition, reporting, and renewal negotiation
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

B.E.
