📌 Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site execution of rooftop and ground mount solar EPC projects from civil foundation to final commissioning
- Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and installation sub-contractors to ensure work progresses as per approved drawings and schedule
- Supervise module mounting, cable laying, inverter installation, and HT or LT transformer erection at project sites
- Conduct quality inspections at key milestones including module installation, DC wiring, AC wiring, and pre-commissioning checks
- Commission string inverters, central inverters, and plant-level SCADA or monitoring systems and verify performance against design yield
- Prepare daily progress reports, deviation logs, and material consumption records for project management review
- Coordinate with TANGEDCO or local DISCOM for net meter installation, synchronisation approval, and grid connectivity

- Walk me through the commissioning sequence for a 500 kW rooftop solar plant from DC wiring completion to first export to grid
- How do you manage multiple sub-contractors on a large commercial rooftop solar site to meet the project timeline?
- What quality inspection checklist do you follow before energising a solar plant?
- How do you handle a site deviation from approved structural drawings discovered during installation?
- Describe the TANGEDCO synchronisation and net metering approval process for a commercial solar plant in Tamil Nadu
- What steps do you take when a string inverter produces a ground fault error after commissioning?
- How do you prepare a snag list and manage closure before project handover to the O and M team?
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

B.E. Electrical or Mechanical for solar project engineer and design engineer roles; Diploma Electrical for solar installation technician and O and M technician roles; ITI Electrician for solar rooftop installation and maintenance roles; MNRE solar installer certification preferred for rooftop solar technician roles; AutoCAD and PVSyst for solar design engineer roles; MBA or Graduate for solar sales and business development roles; PGDM Energy Management from TERI or IGNOU for renewable energy management roles; knowledge of net metering regulations and TANGEDCO grid connectivity norms for sales and project roles in Tamil Nadu; basic electrical safety certification for all site roles
